A good hunting

Easter always reminds me of one of my ex boyfriends and his family. Maybe because it’s one family that takes Easter very seriously. Yes, they took Easter very seriously indeed! I remember that this ex always told me over and over again that tomorrow we’re expected at his parent’s house to look (and hunt) for some eggs somewhere in their garden.

They’re usually hidden in the grass (if they’re not already eaten by their rabbits!), in the trees and somewhere between their garden benches. The thing was that I was very excited about finding the eggs! Not because I loved the eggs so much, but because I loved the hunting. Let’s be honest, who would let the rabbits find the eggs first before you do? I won’t!

YES, IT WAS A GOOD AND FUN TIME!

I don’t think that I’ll be hunting for some eggs this year but I wish you all a good hunting and enjoy the eggs!

My Gadget Wish List

The holiday seasons are coming and the most common question I keep on hearing is, “This is my wish list, what is yours?” I know that it sounds a little bit childish but like some of you, I do like presents very much!  SMILE).

Old-Fashioned Cards

My weekend has started now already and I am enjoying each minute of it tremendously. It is cold outside but the sun shines like a new penny (well, once in a while anyway! SMILE). The strangest thing that I have noticed about today is that my To-Do list does not seem to recognize day-offs or weekends.

The To-Do List remains long and full.

I need to figure out what I am going to do first!

I see … number 1. Write season’s greetings

In the name of holidays and all that, I am going to write down some season’s greetings for relatives and friends.  You see, I prefer to send them some old-fashioned cards rather than e-cards because it’s more personal.

That is the number one reason; the second reason is that there are some of my relatives who are not online (I think that my grandfather would prefer dying alone than purchasing a personal computer!) and the third reason is that I would prefer to receive old-fashioned cards myself. SMILE, again)

Just for a reminder that my colleagues, associates and long distance acquaintances will be receiving their e-cards!

That’s all for now. I am going to start writing ….

Christmas Trees

I was busy having my Thursday’s routine when I received a text message from a friend that said: “have you already decorated your Christmas tree?”

Hmmm… it was a short and simple question. My answer is that I haven’t got any tree at all. But that text message has got me thinking about the impact of Christmas trees to these upcoming holidays.

Are they so essential that we simply cannot celebrate holidays without them? Or do we really need them just to put some presents underneath? What do they do or add to holidays?

“It is a tradition” one says

“They bring the cozyness” one says

“They are the most well known holiday symbols” one says

“The real Christmas trees are nicer then the artificial ones” one says

And so on …..

Seriously, it almost sounds like that our tradition, cozyness and holidays really depend on Christmas trees (the real ones preferably).

Artificial X-mas Tree

If, and only if that would be the case, then I would be probably having an artificial one because not only I can save it for next year (and years to come) but also I can help saving our emvironment.

Call me a dreamer or an idealist, but the truth is that those trees and our environment are truly depending on us, whether it’s holidays or not!
