Yesterday I spent my whole evening redesigning three of my websites. My relatives and friends said that they looked cool and great but I, myself, don’t seem to be satisfied with the settings, background and colours. Maybe because I cannot please myself that easily or maybe because I simply can redesign one or all of my websites whenever I feel like it.
The first website I redesigned was Libelcom – my own company website. It was tight, neat and dark, a little bit too dark according to a colleague. I replaced the background and added some highlighted colours into it. Now it still has a dark colour but with a sophisticated, neat and improving look.
The second website was Libelcom Blog – my own company blog. Unlike Libelcom, Libelcom Blog was a little bit pale and that’s why I needed to replace the background to give some more depth into. I also added some highlighted colours to each and every page. It’s amazing what some colours can do!
And the third was Blog Affairs – my blog that covers social media tips and tricks, including its tools and applications for newbies. It was white but for some reason its background was simply too crowded. I replaced the header and the right sidebar, and I added a category bar right under the image header. Also, I replaced one plug-in with the other to suit the new look.
I am very satisfied with these new looks, at least for now, until I feel the need to redesign one or all of my websites, again. Well, I think that my dissatisfaction is proof that I am alive and kicking. Keep on being creative!
